POLICE are hunting a man who made inappropriate comments and touched the hair and faces of two young girls.

An e-fit of the suspect has been released by Cleveland Police following the disturbing incident involving a nine and a ten-year-old girl in Middlesbrough on Friday, July 1 at 7.30pm on Roworth Road in Thorntree.

One of the girls tried to run away and the man grabbed her and pulled her back and called her an inappropriate name. Both of the girls managed to run away and they were both unharmed.

The suspect is described as white, in his 50s, between 5 ft 6 ins and 5 ft 10 ins tall, of very skinny build with greying hair which is receding on top, and a grey moustache. He was wearing a pink jacket, blue jeans and white trainers with blue stripes on the sides. The man also wears glasses, has a local accent and he is hunched over when he walks. The girls have seen this man before as it is believed he has previously made inappropriate gestures towards the girls.
