WORK colleagues have set themselves a challenge of raising more than £10,000 for a Prince’s Trust charity.
Over the coming few months, the 50-strong team at the Endeavour Partnership, based in Thornaby, will be taking part in activities including sponsored walks, bake-offs, musical events and a special fundraising planner.
The cash raised will go to Fairbridge, a local charity located close to the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough, backed by the Prince’s Trust, which provides training and educational opportunities for 16 to 25-year-olds. Cash raised will be match-funded by the Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation.
Earlier this month, 15 staff took part in the Transporter Bridge challenge in Middlesbrough, climbing the 210 steps to the top of the iconic structure, over 160 feet above sea level.
Endeavour Partnership, a firm of solicitors specialising in business law matters, also provides legal assistance to charities thanks to its legal executive, Nick Dent, who specialises in working with such organisations, and several partners are patrons of the Philanthropic Foundation.
