A THIRD man has been charged with the murder of Le Pettite.

The 22-year-old is due to appear at Teesside Crown Court tomorrow morning.

Earlier today, another amn has appeared in court charged with Mr pettite's murder.

Luke Anthony James Lovell showed no emotion when he made a brief appearance at Teesside Magistrates Court this morning.

The 21-year-old, of Wilton Way, Middlesbrough, was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Crown Court in the morning.

He only spoke to acknowledge his name and address before he was led away in handcuffs.

No plea was entered and no application for bail was made.

In March, Christopher Stubbs, of Tyne Street, South Bank, Middlesbrough, also appeared in court charged with the murder of Mr Pettite.

At the time, his barrister indicated that he would plead guilty to discharging a weapon but no plea was entered in relation to the murder charge.

The 20-year-old appeared at Teesside Crown Court for a short hearing via video link from Stockton’s Holme House prison where he was remanded in custody.

Mr Pettite was found with severe chest injuries close to his home at around 5.15pm on March 1.

Paramedics from the Great North Air Ambulance and the ambulance service carried out emergency treatment on Mr Pettite, but he was pronounced dead at James Cook University Hospital.

Cleveland Police taped off areas around Oakley Walk, Gorsefield Court and Woodcock Close and a forensic investigation tent has also been set up outside a house on Oakley Walk.
