A CREATIVE youngster is celebrating after scooping first prize in The Northern Eggo competition.
Charlotte Catchpole's Finding Nemo entry landed the honours after her design saw off scores of other entrants in the Easter egg design contest.
The eight-year-old St Edward's Primary School pupil also took first prize in her class with the colourful seascape.
The Middlesbrough youngster's mother, Joanne Catchpole, said: "She was over the moon when she found out she had won the first prize. She worked really hard on her effort and we were all so pleased for her.
"As well as winning The Northern Eggo competition she won the best display in her school as well."
As well as a handmade chocolate egg from Chocolate Fayre in Barnard Castle she was presented with a £25 book token for Waterstones.
Other entrants to the competition included the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
