POLICE are attempting to reunite people with their property following the arrest of a suspected burglar.
Officers are appealing to anyone in the Coulby Newham area of Middlesbrough who may have found discarded property in the area to contact them.
Property, such as a camcorder and a bag containing CDs, may have been discarded in the area following two reported burglaries between Tuesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 6 on Woodrush and Hollowfield and three alleged thefts from vehicles on Sunnyside and Hazel Bank in Coulby Newham in the early hours of Monday, April 11.
Two bikes, which are suspected to have been stolen, were recovered from an address in the area. One is described as a black and yellow Carrera road bike with white lettering and the other is described as a silver Trax mountain bike.
Cleveland Police has charged a 33-year-old man with burglary, four counts of theft from motor vehicles, two counts of attempted thefts from motor vehicles and failing to surrender for police bail.
