POLICE are hunting a man who repeatedly asked for a woman's name and number, then verbally abused her when she refused.
The 20-year-old victim was walking along the pavement on Kings Road, North Ormesby, Middlesbrough, when a man pulled alongside her in a car, between 10.20pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday, January 19.
He persistently asked for her name and number, then verbally abused her before driving off.
His vehicle is thought to be a Kia Picanto or Cee’d in red and registered after 2011.
The driver was described as being small in build and height with dark brown/black hair and a long beard. Police are appealing for the driver of the vehicle to contact them.
