TWO men who attempted to rob a woman have been warned they face jail.
Judge Simon Hickey told Jamie Manders and Dale Carter that custody was inevitable in each of their cases.
The pair were captured on CCTV at the entrance to a pound shop in Middlesbrough attempting to rob the female victim on June 21 this year.
Carter also admitted dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and having no insurance in Middlesbrough on June 28.
Manders, 22, of Rothbury Road, and 23-year-old Carter of Linmoor Avenue, both Middlesbrough, appeared at Teesside Crown Court via a video link to Holme House Prison, Stockton, where they are both on remand.
They will be sentenced on September 15 once reports are prepared on them.
