A BALD dog walker threw a child's bike into a pond in Middlesbrough after confronting the 11-year-old about skimming stones.
Police are appealing for information about the incident, at Fairy Dell, Coulby Newham, between 5.30 and 6pm on Monday.
Three 11-year-old boys were skimming stones across the pond, when they were approached by a man who confronted them.
He then picked up one of the boy's pedal bikes and threw it into the pond.
The man is described as 40-50 years old, six ft tall with a bald head, broad build and wearing blue jeans with a brown belt and a blue T-shirt with writing on it.
He was believed to have a West Highland Terrier with him, on a red lead.
