PIPES and drums played in Middlesbrough's Centre Square yesterday (Saturday, June 20) as cadets marched alongside veterans to mark Armed Forces Day.
The Royal Logistics Corps joined air, sea and army cadets to march on parade through the town centre, although rain forced some of the activities indoors to the mima art gallery.
A tea dance, games and a rock climbing wall were also on offer, as well as information stalls, and the Doo Wap Dollies, a vintage female singing group, entertained the crowd.
