TIMETABLE: Northern Rail introduced a new timetable from Sunday (May 17)
IMPROVEMENTS to services around Middlesbrough will be a key feature of Northern Rail’s new timetable which has now come into force.
A new Monday to Friday evening service has been introduced from Middlesbrough to Newcastle at 9.10pm.
There are also more Sunday services between Sunderland and Middlesbrough, giving an hourly service between Newcastle and Middlesbrough and better connections at Thornaby.
Customers are advised to check the new timetable before travelling. More information is available at www.northernrail.org or at any Northern railway station.
