A TEENAGER had his bike stolen after he was knocked off it in Middlesbrough. The 17-year-old was attacked at around 11.15pm on Wednesday, March 25, while cycling along St Barnabas Road, from Linthorpe Road towards Roman Road.

He was approached by an unknown male who dragged him off his bike and stole it. His attacker was described as being 6ft tall, proportionate build with fair hair and wearing a cream/white tracksuit-style jacket.

The stolen bike is a white and blue adult Saracen Mantra mountain bike with black writing on it.

The victim was not unhurt but anyone with information is asked to contact PC Shaun Townsend on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
