WITNESSES are being sought for a serious assault which left a man needing hospital treatment for a stab wound to his chest.
The mass brawl, involving several people, took place on Essex Street in Middlesbrough at around 5pm on Monday, February 23.
Several people were involved in the incident which resulted in a 35-year-old man sustaining a stab wound to his chest. He was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment and was discharged.
Two women aged 32 and 33, and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of GBH and a 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray. All have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
