DETECTIVES have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with a knifepoint robbery at the Subway store on the Trunk Road in Grangetown, near Middlesbrough.
The armed robbery happened at around 6.45pm on the evening of Saturday, January 17.
Two males wearing balaclavas entered the takeaway with knives and threatened staff, before making off with cash from the till.
The first male was wearing a light grey hooded top and tracksuit bottoms with a ‘v’ on the pocket and black trainers. The second male was wearing a dark blue or black top with dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Anyone with information regarding the incident or the identity of the men in the images is asked to contact PC Lindsey Forbes of Redcar and Cleveland Volume Crime Unit on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
