MODEL railway enthusiasts enjoyed the chance to explore track layouts and a mini version of Guisborough when a club opened its doors to the public.

The Cleveland Model Railway Club held an open day at its meeting rooms in The B-Hive, Skelton, east Cleveland.

As well as the the display tracks people were able to watch modelling demonstrations by members.

Club member Brian Spencer said: "It all went really well, we had a lot of people coming through the doors throughout the day. Some people expressed an interest in joining, which is the whole point of the day.

"The open day is to show people what we do and it helps to raise funds to keep the club going."
