A MAN was taken to hospital after a car hit a bus stop earlier today (Sunday).
The 58-year-old driver was taken to to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and his condition was described as 'poorly'.
The collision happened at 7.50am when the man's black Ford Focus hit the bus stop near the Norman Conquest Pub on Flatts Lane, Middlesbrough. The road was closed while the car was recovered and investigation work took place. It reopened at 10am. Anyone with information is asked to call the police on the non-emergency 101 number.
