CHARITY shop bosses are hoping spring clean fever will encourage shoppers to bag a bargain with Barnardo’s.
To mark the arrival of spring, Barnardo’s shops across the region are launching their new seasonal collection of clothes and goods this week.
The children’s charity’s North East area business manager, Jo Strachan, said: “This is usually one of our busiest times of year. We hope that families planning to spring clean their homes will also be spring cleaning their wardrobes too.
“As well as competitively priced and often brand new clothing for all the family - Barnardo’s shops also stock many new household goods. So we’re well worth a visit if you haven’t been in for a while.”
All proceeds from Barnardo’s shops go towards the charity’s vital work with children and families in the region.
Stock donations are always needed, with women’s tops, handbags and shoes being fast sellers.
Barnardo’s has shops in Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Northallerton in North Yorkshire and Newton Aycliffe, Tow Law, Barnard Castle, Seaham, Barnard Castle and Consett in County Durham.
