A LIFEBOAT crew was called out last night, Monday, to search for a person who had gone missing in the Hartlepool Marina area.
Hartlepool RNLI's inshore lifeboat and volunteer crew were tasked to search for the missing person near the piers at the marina.
The lifeboat launched at 11.10pm but was stood down shortly afterwards by Humber Coastguard following reports that the missing person had been located.
The inshore lifeboat returned to the Ferry Road lifeboat station and was made ready for service by 11.25pm.
