THE driver of an Audi which hit two young girls before driving off is being hunted by police.
The girls aged ten and 11 were both riding their bicycles when they were in collision with the Audi A4, on Bruce Crescent, Hartlepool, on Friday, June 30 at 5.15pm.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene and officers are urging him to contact the police.
The ten-year-old girl suffered a broken rib and minor injuries and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment. A 11-year-old girl suffered minor injuries and did not need hospital treatment.
- Any witnesses or anyone with information regarding the driver is asked to contact PC Andrew Barron from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 115159.
