A PERSON on board a fishing boat that broke down 11 miles off the coast of Hartlepool has been rescued.
Hartlepool RNLI volunteer crew were alerted to the distress call at 8.25pm on Monday, June 19.
The all weather lifeboat and volunteer crew launched from Ferry Road lifeboat station at 8.40pm and were alongside the stricken boat at 9.15pm where the vessel was taken under tow to Kafiga Landings at the Headland, arriving at 10.30pm.
