A CRASH in a supermarket car park has sparked a police appeal for a driver to come forward after a 65-year-old man sustained foot injuries.
After initially stopping at the scene, the driver of a black Nissan Juke has failed to contact the police in relation to the incident on Monday, April 17.
The crash happened in Sainsbury’s car park, at Middle Warren Local Centre, Mulberry Rise, Hartlepool, at around 4pm.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “The driver of the vehicle is described as a young white male, of slim build with short hair and he initially stopped at the scene.
“Officers would like the driver of this vehicle to come forward as he may be able to assist with their enquiries.”
Anyone with information can contact Cleveland Police’s PC Marie Scott via non-emergency number 101.
