FIREFIGHTERS tackled a shop blaze early on Saturday morning.
At around 6am, firefighters were called to a fire at a parade of shops on Catcote Road in Hartlepool.
The blaze, which caused damage to a food preparation area and the roof of a yard, was extinguished by three fire crews, two from Stranton fire station and one from Billingham.
Firefighters used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus in their efforts to tackle the blaze.
