POLICE are searching for a highly sentimental piano accordion after it was stolen in a burglary in Hartlepool.

The burglary happened sometime between Wednesday, February 15 and Sunday 19 after a garden shed was broken in to in the Briarfields Close area of the town.

The priceless accordion, which is blue and white in colour, was still in its original brown box.

Two electric drills and a Karcher washer were also stolen from the shed
