TWO men arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Middlesbrough have been released on bail.

Cleveland Police were called to the sudden death at around 11.45pm on Thursday night at an address on Delarden Road in Pallister Park in the town.

A police spokeswoman said: “The 44-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and detectives have been conducting enquiries in the local area to piece together the circumstances of her death.

“Members of the public can help by reporting any information that they have, or whether they have seen anything suspicious.”

Two men, aged 21 and 53, arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death have now been released on bail pending further information.

The spokeswoman added: "Police are continuing enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the woman's death."
