A YOUNG boy suffered a fractured wrist and cuts and bruises to his head and legs after being hit by a Ford Mondeo on Myrtle Road in Eaglescliffe, close to the junction with Laburnam Road, at 5.30pm yesterday (Sunday, August 7).
The eight-year-old was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment to his injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jayson Morris from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 142689.
