A MAN from the Hartlepool area is in a critical but stable condition in hospital following a car crash at Sappers Corner in Greatham, Hartlepool.
The 21-year-old was driving a red Ford Ka when the collision took place, at about 9.05pm last night (Sunday, Feb 7). The vehicle left the road collided with a lamppost.
The man was left suffering from a broken pelvis and broken leg.
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact PC Paul Egglestone from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 023064.
