THE body of a man has been found in the water at Hartlepool Marina.
Cleveland Police received the call at 10.45am on Tuesday following reports of a man’s body in the water at Jackson Wharf.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokeswoman for the force stressed the incident is not linked to a missing person appeal for Stockton man Graham McInness.
The 38-year-old was last seen at around 8pm on Saturday.
His car was found by police in a car park in Seaton Carew and officers are looking in the Seaton Carew and Hartlepool areas.
