FIVE people are facing court accused of being part of a plot to create a cannabis factory in an industrial unit.
The suspects - all from Hartlepool - are charged with conspiracy to supply Class B drugs over an eight-month period.
Teesside Crown Court heard that police found a drugs farm at a unit in Brenda Road, Hartlepool, in August 2013.
None of the defendants entered a plea when they appeared in court, and were given bail until a hearing in June.
They are: Jayne Fannon, 33, of Earlston Walk; Christopher Tobin, 29, of Allerton Close; Jamie Wharton, 38, of Coast Road; Anthony Stokle, 38, of Mariners Point; John Noble, 52, of Spurn Walk; and David Noble, 65, of Elwick Road.
