A FORMER Cleveland College of Art & Design student is bringing her latest collection to the catwalk to help raise money for charities which are close to her heart.

Emily Jones, 23, set up independent fashion house, House of Freaks in September 2014, after graduating from Cleveland College of Arts and Design (CCAD)’s university level campus in Hartlepool with a degree in fashion.

Since then, with business partner Charley Archer, Emily’s online fashion business has grown steadily and she is now venturing into the world of catwalk shows, alongside Vintageous Rags, SCXII Independent Apparel and Vienna Lucie Boutique, to raise money for Cancer Research and the Royal Navy Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

The charity fashion show is taking place on Friday, March 20 at art gallery, the House of Blah Blah in Middlesbrough’s Exchange Square, and is being hosted by Jake Radio.

Featuring live models, the catwalk show will showcase the Thornaby-based designer’s latest collection of clothes, as well as live music and bar, pop up shops, raffles, an auction and more.

“The charity clothes show is something myself and Charley wanted to do from day one," said Ms Jones. "We love that our company is in Teesside and only use local businesses and models. "

Tickets cost £4 in advance and can be purchased online at www.houseoffreaks.co.uk, The House of Blah Blah, The Olde Young Teahouse and £5 on the night. Doors open at 7.30pm and the fashion catwalk commences at 8pm.
