A VARIETY of sweets and treats proved just the tonic for visitors to a Christmas Festival.
Aldi Guisborough dropped off a range of hot drinks, biscuits and cakes at the Sunnyfield House Community Centre to help them prepare for their festive coffee morning.
Guisborough town mayor, Councillor Malcolm Griffiths, said: “We are delighted to welcome Aldi as a new retailer in the town and we would like to compliment them on their fortitude as many of us supported their application to come to Guisborough some years ago.
“Once again, we would like to say thank you for the kind donations towards the Guisborough Christmas Festival and charity coffee mornings.”
Aldi area manager, Nicholas Coates, said: “We are pleased to be able to support the Sunnyfield House Community Centre for such an exciting festive event for the whole community to enjoy.
“We hope that the coffee morning donation ensures the centre can continue with their meetings in the community and help maintain it as a place close to the heart of its residents.”
