TOUCHING IMAGE: Family release picture of Mark Dixon with his daughter as police continue to appeal for witnesses
A RENEWED an appeal for witnesses has been issued by police following the death of a Hartlepool man.
Cleveland Police have released a family photograph of Mark Dixon who was assaulted just after 4am in Victoria Road in Hartlepool on October 5.
The 32-year-old suffered serious head injuries and was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he later died.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently on police bail.
Officers have spoken to a number of people who were in the area at the time but would still like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or were in the vicinity prior to it to contact them at Cleveland Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.
