MEMBERS of sports clubs across Teesside are being encouraged to find out more about £75,000 worth of funding available to them.
Tees Valley Sport is supporting clubs in their applications to receive a share of National Lottery grants of between £25,000 and £75,000.
The money is being distributed by the Sport England Inspired Facilities fund which is open to applications from not for profit organisations promoting sports participation.
Tees Valley Sport is holding an Inspired Facilities workshop at Teesside University on September 22 to enable people to find out more about the fund receive advice on individual projects and ideas.
The workshop, costing £30, runs from 6pm to 9pm and support will continue to be offered throughout the funding application process.
