The start of the X Factor auditions in Middlesbrough
WANNABE X-Factor stars turned out in droves to take their chance of stardom when the talent show rolled into Middlesbrough today.
Would-be singing stars packed out the Hillstreet Shopping Centre to take a shot at the open auditions.
They are hoping to follow in the footsteps of other North-East success stories such as James Arthur, Amelia Lily and Abi Alton.
Some of the lucky singers made it through to the next round at The Sage in Gateshead on May 1.
