THE Mentulls (CORR) will be playing Saltburn Blues Club on Saturday, May 24 at 8pm in the town’s cricket club.

The local band, who are from Guisborough, are rooted in the 60s but infused with a boundless youthful energy. They will be supported by Chris Martin.

EASTER FUN: There will be Easter fun for all the family in Gisborough Priory Woodland Gardens between 1pm and 3.30pm on Easter Monday, 21 April. Visitors, young and old, can search for clues hidden throughout the gardens to discover the name of the Easter bunny. There will be small chocolate eggs as prizes for anyone who manages to complete the trail. Seasonal stories will be told in the woodland storytelling area by Katherine Appleton, one of the Gisborough Priory Project volunteers.

COACHES NEEDED: Stockton Council is looking for new coaches to deliver high quality sports coaching programmes to a range of different participant groups across the Borough. The programmes focus on learning, achievement and fun, encouraging individuals to take part in sports and physical activity and to achieve their personal goals. The Council will be holding a special induction event for anyone who would like to receive information on how to become a sports coach. It will take place at North Shore Academy, on Monday, April 28 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. VEHICLES DAMAGED: Cleveland Police are appealing for information after eight vehicles were damaged in the North Ormesby area of Middlesbrough. Six vehicles had their windows smashed on Kindersley Street, one on South View Terrace and another on Henry Street between 00.50am and 1.05am in the early hours of Sunday, April 13. Anyone who may have witnessed any of the damage or anyone acting suspiciously in the area around that time is asked to contact PC Sarah Evans on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.

OUTDOOR FUN: FAMILIES across Hartlepool are being urged not to miss out on the chance to take part in a new fun orienteering challenge. Places are still available on Xplorer sessions being organised by Hartlepool Council’s Sport and Physical Activity Team in partnership with British Orienteering.
