A FASHION show featuring imaginative costumes has been staged by students celebrating the end of their degree course.
The students, in their third year at Cleveland College of Art and Design, in Hartlepool, had picked the costume option in the BA degree in entertainment design crafts.
The graduates are destined for careers in film, theatre and heritage which involves making costumes for museums and theme parks.
For the show yesterday, they selected their own theme, or took inspiration from a novel or play.
Titles for costumes included the Highwayman, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Sea King - a Russian mythological legend.
The costumes in all their splendour will be unveiled at The Studio, in Tower Street, Hartlepool, on May 30, at 7pm, for a catwalk show.
Gayle Playford, costume tutor, said: "This has been a really successful year and all the costumes have been very individual."
