A 23-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court following an incident in a Teesdale village on Wednesday night.
Samuel Heys arrested following the incident at a house in Mickleton.
Mr Heys, of Parkside, Ladgate Lane, Middlesbrough, was charged with breaching a restraining order, criminal damage and possession of a firearm with intent following his arrest on Wednesday night.
He appeared before magistrates at Peterlee Magistrate’s Court, in Peterlee, County Durham, yesterday, April 20.
Mr Heys did not enter any pleas and no application for bail was made.
He was remanded into custody following the hearing.
He will appear at Durham Crown Court for his next hearing on Wednesday, May 25, at 10am.
