SEVERAL vehicles were damaged during a police chase that led to one man being arrested on Sunday morning.
Police officers responding to a call about a burglary at a removals company in Middlesbrough became embroiled in a pursuit that left around 12 vehicles damaged.
The Cleveland Police officers were pursuing a box van in connection with the burglary at Mr Shifter on the Whitestone Business Park, which was reported at around 8.50am.
A spokesman for the force said: “Following the pursuit it is believed around 12 vehicles were damaged.
“If you believe you are the owner of one of these vehicles, please call officers in the ICMT team on 101.”
Nobody was injured as a result of the pursuit but a 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and driving-related offences.
He currently remains in custody while enquiries are on-going.
