A TEENAGER will appear in court charged with burglary and a number of driving offences following a crash on the A19 yesterday.
Declan Wayne Morris, 18, is expected to attend a hearing at Teesside Magistrates Court this morning to face charges of burglary, dangerous driving, disqualified driving, driving with no insurance and aggravated vehicle taking.
The Middlesbrough man's hearing follows a two-car collision on the A19 Northbound that happened at around 5.30am yesterday morning and left one man injured.
The crash, which involved an Audi A8 and a white Vauxhall Corsa, led to the A19 being temporarily closed in both directions.
Witnesses reported long tailbacks of around five miles and there were significant delays for motorists travelling around the area.
