DOZENS of items of jewellery of “great sentimental value” have been stolen during a house burglary.
Two gold diamond engagement rings, a gold engagement ring with five stones, and a platinum and diamond eternity ring have gone missing since the incident.
A man was seen acting suspiciously at the time of the incident on Argyll Road, in Middlesbrough, at around 10am on Sunday, August 13.
He is described as being bald, dark-skinned and wearing a light green T-shirt.
A gold and diamond eternity ring, a silver opal ring, a silver locket on a chain, a mother of pearl necklace, a Swarovski silver crystal earrings, a man’s gold wedding band, two pairs of pearl earrings, a gold chain with a pearl drop, and a gold and garnet pendant were also taken alongside 30 assorted costume necklaces.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information regarding the burglary or anyone who may have been offered to buy the items to contact Cleveland Police’s detective constable Joanne Williams by calling 101.
