TICKETS to see top comic Sarah Millican on tour next year go on sale later this week.

She will be bringing her brand-new show Control Enthusiast to Stockton’s ARC followed by two nights at Middlesbrough Town Hall.

Tickets for all three gigs go on sale at 10am on Friday.

The Geordie comic enjoyed a rapid rise to fame after winning the Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008.

Voted ‘Queen of Comedy’ at the British Comedy Awards, she has also fronted three series of her own BAFTA nominated BBC2 show, and has notched up countless appearances on a string of top shows including QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Live at the Apollo.

Graham Ramsay, of promoters Ten Feet Tall said: “We’ve worked with Sarah right from the early days of her career, and it’s been a real joy to see how she’s captured the hearts of millions of comedy fans along the way.

“Sarah is obviously one of the biggest names in the world of comedy, but with her being from just up the road, it seems like her skewed North East take on things resonates even more with Teesside crowds."

The first gig is at the ARC, Stockton on Thursday, February 1. Tickets costing £27.50 are available from arconline.co.uk and seetickets.com

The next two take place at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Thursday, June 14 and Friday 15. Tickets are available at middlesbroughtownhallonline.co.uk and www.seetickets.com
