POLICE are appealing for help after lights and sentimental ornaments were stolen from a grave in a Hartlepool cemetery.
The fence around the grave, in the north west corner of Stranton Cemetery on Brierton Lane, was also damaged between 3pm on Thursday, May 18 and 4pm on Friday, May 19.
Cleveland Police are asking anyone with information to call PC Marie Owen on 101.
Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers via their website at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by phoning them on 0800 555 111.
