TALKS exploring the history of Teesside and the surrounding area will resume again in May at Preston Park Museum, near Stockton.
The first will follow in the footsteps of the Cavaliers and Roundheads and explore the fight for control of the river crossing at Yarm.
Preston Park Museum is once again teaming up with Tees Archaeology to present an extended programme of heritage-themed talks and walks. ‘The Archaeology of Teesside’ programme first took place in 2016 to sell-out audiences.
Talks will take place on the first Tuesday of every month from May to November, excluding August, in the Music Room at Preston Park Museum at 10am and there will be two guided walks in Yarm and Eaglescliffe in June and September. For more information visit www.prestonparkmuseum.co.uk/talks.
