POLICE are appealing for information after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted.
The incident happened near to the junction of Church Lane and Ormesby High Street opposite The Fountain pub in Middlesbrough on Monday at 8.45pm.
The victim was approached by an unknown man who grabbed hold of him and pushed him to the floor.
"The male suspect is described as white, in his early 30s with ginger hair and a ginger beard. He was wearing a black jacket, dark trousers and had a white and brown medium sized dog with him," said a spokeswoman for Cleveland Police.
"The victim was uninjured."
