THE singer who wowed judges on TV talent show The Voice at the weekend is putting on a special performance for fellow students today at Stockton Riverside College.
Former labourer Craig Carter, now a performing arts student, was put through to the second round after impressing judges on Saturday night.
The 29-year-old from Billingham – known as Carter – is now preparing for the "Battles" round of the contest.
“It’s been surreal but I am learning from it all.
“It’s great to have the chance to share what I am learning with other students.”
Carter left celebrity coaches Gavin Rossdale, Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones all vying for his attention, after turning their chairs during his performance of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” during blind auditions on the TV talent show.
