A FAIRY godmother carried out random acts of kindness for shoppers in Stockton.
Castlegate Shopping Centre was visited by the Fairy on Monday - and she spent over £100 paying for customers' Christmas shopping.
The random acts are taking place every Monday throughout December as part of a campaign around Stockton, The Most Wonderful Bank in the World.
From paying for salt & pepper shakers to toy fire engines and turkey stuffing sandwiches, the Fairy spread festive cheer among shoppers.
Tracey Porritt, fundraiser for local charity Sowing Seeds, was one of the customers who benefited from the Fairy Godmother.
She said: “I was just stood at the till in Card Factory waiting to buy wrapping paper when along came a Fairy Godmother who paid for my shopping.
"I was amazed as these things never happen to me."
The Fairy Godmother will be returning to Castlegate on Monday December 21st to spread festive cheer in the run-up to Christmas day.
