POETRY lovers are in for a treat when international artists come together in the North-East in October.
And to give everyone a taste of what is to come the organisers of the Teesside International Poetry Festival 'T-Junction' visited the mima art gallery in Middlesbrough to launch the event.
Over a four-day period people will be able to attend the poetry festival to listen to readings, while joining in with workshops and debates at venues around Middlesbrough.
Poets performing during the festival, from Thursday, October 16 until Monday, October 20, include Palestinian poet Nader Hussein, Cuban Victor Rodriguez-Nunez, John Berger of France, and Syrian Amir Dawish.
