Over 70 players participated in a 24 hour hockey marathon to raise money for a children's charity. The event held at Norton Hockey Club raised more than £1,200 for local children’s charity, Daisy Chain.
Many participants played right throughthe night and ranged in age from keen juniors to male and female long-serving members of the club. President John Sale, who presented the cheque to Carol Rogers from Daisy Chain, said: "This event was tremendously well supported and Norton Hockey Club are delighted to support local children’s charity, Daisy Chain."
