A CHARITY is able to employ a volunteer for the next four months to help promote its services thanks to a donation from the Vodafone World of Difference Programme.
BlindVoice UK, based in Stockton, will employ Heather Campbell, who has just completed a degree in journalism and has been a volunteer at the charity for several years.
The 21-year-old said: “I am very pleased to be given this opportunity and I hope to be able to help them discover new ways to promote and publicise the services they offer.”
Manager Christine Durnion said: “We hope that Heather will make more people aware of the services we offer for blind people and she will work as part of a team to accomplish her goals.”
