Woman found in street with head injuries

POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was found with head injuries in the street in the early hours of this morning.
She was found in a side street between St Bernard Road and Tarring Street, Stockton, at around 12.50am today.
She is believed to be in her 20s and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton with head injuries.
Her condition is described as critical but stable.
