WOMEN from across the region enjoyed a wining, dining and shopping experience that boosted a hospice’s coffers.
Auckland Castle, the Bishop of Durham's 800-year-old official residence, hosted three Ladies Indulgence events last week.
The two evening events last Wednesday and Thursday featured fashion shows, shopping and dinner and there was an afternoon tea event on Friday.
They were organised by Bishop Auckland Town Centre Forum’s marketing group with women in mind.
Sue Snowdon, chairman of the marketing group, said: "They were lovely event, very successful and ladies are already asking if we’ll do it next year.
"It also helps support the work of the Butterwick Hospice and the total raised so far is £2,500 with more to count yet."
