The villages of Dalton and Gayles enjoyed another fine show day on Saturday 20th August.

Commenting on his winning photograph, (and a second placed entry) Chris Campbell said "What is particularly pleasing is that both photos were taken here in Dalton.
As a mountaineer and rock-climber I am fortunate to find myself in a position to witness Nature in a way perhaps differently to others. So taking sunsets from my back garden is a tad less stressful than some of the positions I choose to use my camera. Of course the key is to have the camera there to capture the moment and some patience!
